About CYMA Nepal
CYMA Nepal (Children and Youth Managed Association) was created to bring lasting change to children who had been orphaned, abandoned, or left vulnerable. Led by Mahendra Lamichhane, who experienced life as an orphan himself, CYMA offers more than shelter — it offers family, education, and a sense of purpose.
Rooted in a youth-led spirit, CYMA empowers each child to be heard and supported. With guidance, love, and structure, they grow into confident young adults ready to shape their own future.

A Day in the Life at CYMA
Mornings at CYMA begin with shared chores, warm breakfasts, and school prep. After a day of learning, the children return for group study, games, and laughter. Evenings often involve group meals, music, and moments of reflection.
Special occasions like birthdays and national festivals are celebrated with food, fun, and togetherness — a reminder that they are not alone, but part of a growing family.
