Sarabjit Singh

Sarabjit Singh

ARTIST

I’m a female artist living in the South San Francisco Area. I paint mostly acrylics on canvas,
wood or Murals on walls. Some years back I started making functional art that can be useful like coasters, serving trays, and wood side tables with resin, dried flowers, crystals, and pigments.
With my roots in Sikhism, I devote a great part of my art to Sikh history, so that people can get
familiar with Sikh/Punjabi culture. You can view my art at: https://www.artofsarabjitsingh.com/
[expander_maker id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”]My style is a combination of contemporary, abstract, and realistic. I’ve taught art in local schools and privately to adults and kids in the past. Art can heal hearts and build bridges. I wish that my art will do just that. I’ve participated in many shows locally, Statewide, and internationally. I have presently been volunteering since 2020 for the Ancient Secrets Foundation to help orphanages in Nepal through art to raise funds. I’ve initiated the opening of the Ancient Secrets shop with art from the community and myself; the sale of products helps fund the orphanages. Here is the link to the shop: https://ancientsecretsfoundation.org/shop/

ARTIST

Shilpi Gupta is an Intuitive Coach/Healer, Mindfulness Facilitator, and Artist who uses Art with children and adults alike for its therapeutic benefits in her sessions. She is based in Northern Virginia USA. She also organizes Art Workshops every summer for children to help them express their inner artist and have so much fun playing with colors.[expander_maker id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”]Her philosophy is that we are too serious and we need to inject more fun and laughter into every aspect of our lives. She loves to work with geometric shapes as a base as they have a very powerful effect on a human on every level. It is very calming and soothing and brings people back to their center as they work around the shapes. Plus she encourages the use of colors as different hues have very different effects on us and can shift the vibration we are in.

She is looking forward to taking the participants on a fun journey of painting the town with colors of joy and imagination.

Sharon developed an interest in Art at a young age. She did a large mural in crayon on the Living Room Wall at the age of 4. She was sent to bed without her supper. Fortunately, most of the critics have been kinder since then, and she kept right on Painting. Watercolor is her chosen Medium.

Luke Sutton

Luke Sutton

ARTIST

It was obvious to my parents and me that I had artistic talent from an early age. I started drawing at about age 5. I did very well in my art classes in school. When I was 15, I applied to the High School of Art & Design in NYC. About 1800 people applied, and they accepted only about one-third. I was fortunately accepted. Then, in my senior year, when looking at art colleges, I applied to the School of Visual Arts in NYC and got in. I majored in Graphic Design and Illustration. Upon graduation, I got a job in a design studio in NYC doing graphic design, corporate identity, and illustration. [expander_maker id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”]A few years later, I became very intrigued with wood carving which soon turned to wood sculpture and also stone sculpture. For a while, I apprenticed with a famous sculptor. I showed my sculptures in galleries in NYC, Brooklyn, and the Brooklyn Museum, and started selling some sculptures. When I moved to San Francisco, I showed my work in galleries and group shows all around the Bay Area. I worked as a wood and stone sculptor for many years, while still making an income with graphic design. Though I changed careers and don’t work professionally as an artist anymore, I will always be an artist. I still do some drawings with pen and ink and watercolors and colored Pencils. I love who I am as an artist.[/expander_maker]
