About Orphan and Helpless Children Development Society ~ Dadagaun
Nestled in the quiet hills of Dadagaun near Kathmandu the Orphan and Helpless Children Development Society was created to provide abandoned and vulnerable children with a safe and loving home. It was founded by a group of caring individuals who saw the hardships faced by orphaned children in their community and wanted to offer them a better future through care education and opportunity.
Today the home is run by a small team of devoted caregivers and teachers who focus on empathy growth and learning.
What makes this home special is its warm family feel where every child is known loved and encouraged to grow.
A Day in the Life at Orphan and Helpless Children Development Society ~ Dadagaun
Each day starts with morning chores and a warm breakfast before the children head off to school in the village. After class they return home for homework help games or creative activities like drawing and music
Meals are shared together like a family and everyone helps out with small responsibilities. Birthdays are celebrated with cake and singing and festivals like Dashain and Tihar bring special joy with dancing lights and traditional foods
